What is the problem lately here?

This forum has gone slow as dial up on me, and half the time I can't even get in at all.

It's not an issue in any other place I visit. Anyone else having trouble.

I have, repeatedly, logged out (removing cookies) and logged back in but it makes no difference. I don't have hours to spend trying to catch up with all that's going on and I am getting really really exasperated and frustrated!


ARRRRGGGHHHHH!

Me too!

Very slow loading the next page, if I want to go to page 2 of something. I also thought it was my computer, until it happened at work as well.

Thank you all for the reports. Please do keep them coming, as I often have no other indication of site performance.

I am reporting this to our server admin and hopefully he will be able to get to the root of the problem and solve it.

I had noticed it, but I thought it was just the network at my job, because everything has always been fine at home.

It must be an off-again, on-again kind of thing.

Same here.

I am also getting an occasional "block" like I don't have permission to reply to a post. But without doing anything else, it seems to resolve itself.

I'm glad it's working out, but in the meantime it's frustrating.

Update: Oops...I might have been trying to reply to the IMO forum.

Slow here too, but just now logging on was so fast, I mentioned it to my DH.

Guess the prob is fixed? Hope so.

I was having problems yesterday where I couldn't get on to the site at all for about 30 minutes, but then it was fine. I have also noticed the occasional slowness as well. Seems fine today though so far.

It does seem better for me today then it has done - not sure if this is coincidence, but it seems pretty normal again for me.

It has been better, until now. I haven't been able to get in since 5 pm. That's almost 7 hours. I've been going through withdrawal!

And judging by the lack of updates, no one else has been able to get in either.

Last evening couldn't get on at all. It said site was on line, and my firewall was fine but another fire wall was blocking. Even tried Google.

I don't even know what a firewall is or if it is anything that the site can do anything about. But this has happened before.

SLOW again. was good for a couple of days. Then inaccessible. Now back to taking about 15 seconds to load a page. urrrgh.

Not only does it just seem to "hang" there waiting to load for a while, but I am CONSTANTLY receiving notices about a double-post - when I just hit "reply" once.

I'm finding the site has been pretty slow on and off today. It was okay this morning, but at lunch it too 5 minutes to load the next page of a thread...It also took me nearly 10 minutes to edit one of my cat pages on MOnday.

I'm still either getting the double-post notice or the "This forum requires you wait 30 seconds..." message EVERY time I post something! (In addition to site loading being slow). And I particpate on other forums, and the problem is just with this one.
