Emmy Is On Her Way NOW

Just got a call from Emmy's "grandma"asking me if she could bring her over now. OF COURSE!! her current mommy won't be coming along. I'm glad about this because I think the transition will go smoother without her. The only part that upsets me is that I have to go back to work tomorrow. I wish I could have had her sooner. I'm going to be satisfied spending this first day with her though. It's gonna be a great day

Yay! Hoping for a very good transition. I wonder, and I bet, being the kind of person you are, you're even sending a thank you note to Emmy's family - maybe it'll make the daughter feel better about herself and give her some closure as well.

Because that's the kind of person you've shown yourself to be - a loving heart - and that's why Bella worked so fast to make sure another kitty who will need lots of love (and will return the love, I'm sure), got a wonderful home so quickly.

I'm glad your wait wasn't all that long. It is a problem having to go back to work tomorrow tho, I know you want to spend some special time with her. I know she will be ok, yes we will need pictures of your new baby.

I'm so happy for you for this opportunity to share your love with Emmy. And it's really kind of you to send a card and flowers to her former meowmy too. Emmy is a super lucky kitty!! Just took her a few years to get there!
