kitten wanting to groom *me* all the time

Could be lots of reasons she does this. Sounds like she could be a worrier and grooming herself and others could give her comfort. Have you seen a vet yet to rule out medical issues? Also, my youngest cat used to groom me a lot as he reached sexual maturity. Then he'd try to mate with my arm which landed him in the floor. That stopped after he was neutered and the hormones calmed down.

Lol, no worries! It WAS funny. Sort of.

Actually, I caught Nuts licking Attitude in her bikini area. Attitude was spayed and was just laying there like 'whatever', Nuts wasn't yet neutered at the time. It was funny because I turned around while on the computer, Nuts saw me look at him and he took off running, like he knew he was doing something 'wrong.' I had just literally turned around and hadn't even processed what was happening until Nuts was up and running, I didn't have a chance to show any reaction in my face.

When I first moved Attitude and Nuts(brother and sister) in Attitude groomed me a lot. She licked me so much on the face that her tongue started hurting me because of how much she was doing it in one session. She has since quit doing it. Nuts did it somewhat, nowhere near Attitude's level, he stopped before it started hurting now he only does it once in a while same as Attitude. They do sometimes decide my hair is for their personal amusement and groom it forever to the point where it gets wet right down to my scalp. Nuts especially has created some really bad hair days doing this.

I think it's just a phase. If you can afford to get her a playmate I would look into that, that will take some of the attention away from you. I decided that Nuts was also going to be my cat because I knew if I ever got to move Attitude in, Attitude(and Nuts) are FeLV + and Maude wasn't, she would drive Maude up the wall and Maude would be forced to kill her. Maude wasn't fond of either of them but really didn't like Nuts, of course Attitude got the point when Maude 'disciplined' her and Nuts is well, stupid, not to mention crazy(how do you think he got the name Nuts.)

Just be careful about a playmate, they sometimes teach each other things.
