I'm standing in for Chris who's battling a a bug ( !!).

In the U.S. coming up to the elections there's been plenty of.... negative energy, let's say. In the spirit of good will and positive thoughts, today's question is a simple one. Who is the last person you hugged?

DH. We always kiss each other good-bye and give each a hug before we leave for work. Always. This morning, he left before me. He came back to bed, gave me a kiss and big hug.

One of my best friends over the weekend. He is a friend of mine since grade school, and we had a surprise 40th birthday party for him. A great time was had by all, and I saw people I haven't seen in 15 years.

Good question! I actually had to think back on the last couple of days, to try and remember.

I hugged our choir director/organist/cantor on Sunday. We had a big celebration to commemorate 20 years at our church. He and his wife are my best friends, and to see him honored was so wonderful - he's done an outstanding job, and, as he says, he was called to do this.

I hugged him after our big post-service brunch and said what a special experience it is singing in the choir.....because of him.

If giving a forehead bump to someone counts as a hug, it was DH yesterday.
If you mean a real hug, it would have been Sunday evening; the 16 y.o. girl across the alley (the one my daughter moved in with) came over, with her bf, to vent about my daughter. (I couldn't understand why it took her so long
). Anyway, before she left she put out her arms and said, "Hug?"

So, the last person I hugged was my 16 year old neighbor.

The last person that I hugged was my dad after he dropped me off at my apartment a little while ago.
(We had some errands to run this morning). It still amazes me that that we have such a good relationship now! He was not a part of my life for well over 20 years. Some people say that people never change...I honestly don't think that's true now. He's an example of someone who has drastically turned his life around and made amazing changes
I'm soo glad I gave him another chance to be in my life and I'm proud to call him my father

I hugged my BF last night. No hugs this morning, as I'm still in bed when he leaves for work, so he just kisses me goodbye. I am very not a morning person and can't be bothered to move and get un-snuggled out of the covers just for a hug!

Get well soon Chris!!!!
