Question of the Day Monday 2nd

Good morning all

As I used to loose my keys on a regular basis I decided to put big key rings one them so I could always find them...I have a Nemo one on them at the minute

so the question today is

What is the one thing you always loose and how have you tried to combat being able to easily find it?

Usually my large pair of scissors. I never have any clue where I've left them.

I am always loosing my debit card!!! I hate purses and just throw things in my pockets. Then I end up searching everything I've worn for that stupid card!!

So I bought a wallet. But it was a pain to carry and I was always scared I'd lay it down in a store, and loose it.

So now I have a purse....ugh. My daughter says I have turned into an old woman!! But I have to have something larger and easier to find.

But carrying it is a pain!

How about everything..Haha If I need to use it generally that means I spend atleast 10 min or more looking for what I need. My biggest is my car keys though. We dont have a clicky button thing on the Explorer and it has automatic locks so Im not allowed to leave the keys in it like I did with the cavalier....I ALWAYS have to do a check when I get out smokes, lighter, phone, keys. Yesterday I lost my keys in my purse because it has too many pockets and I forgot where I put the keys. I almost had a heart attack in Wal-Mart parking lot.

I used to constantly lose my library card. I'd stick in it my pants pocket as I was leaving the library, then I'd forget where it was. It got washed so many times and I'd find it in the washer or dryer. I finally realized that, if I put the thing away as soon as I left the library and got into my car, I wouldn't have to worry about it.

I have a Jansport attache that I've used forever and ever. Lots of little pockets and zippered closures. One of the little pockets is perfect for my library card and for my entrance card to work.

My cell phone; I'm always losing the blasted thing!!! I don't have a home phone, so my cell doubles as home/cell for me, so losing that is definitely not a good thing! I always "lose" it in my apartment! I try to remember to take it with me into each room so that I always have it nearby, but I typically lose it several times a week reguardless. One time I found it in the fridge after I spent about an hour scouring my apartment for it!

I lose everything too. Just a couple of weeks ago I was at this store, and they were closing so I was in a hurry and I had my phone and a bunch of papers in my hand, and I set it down on the counter so I can take out my wallet from my handbag to pay, and then walked out of the store leaving it there....sigh..
And then I was looking for my phone a little while later and couldn't find it  so I went back, thankfully I could figure out what could have possibly happened.
I also lose my credit card a lot, but it's usually somewhere in my possession, just not in its proper place which is my wallet, so when I go to pay and it's not there I freak out.

I actually don't lose things very often, although right now my house is in such a state of construction that I keep losing tools around the house. I have to remember the last thing I worked on to find a tool sometimes.

But DH and I have a joke that I lose Muddy all the time. I have to give him a pill every other night and I have to find him to pill him. I'll look all over the house before I ask DH if he's seen Muddy. More often than not, he tells me that Muddy is in his favorite hiding spot - sprawled out in the middle of the living room. Who looks for a cat in the middle of a room?

I never really lose anything. But I misplace stuff all the time. By "misplace" I mean leave it in a place the cats can get to. So after about 2 hours I think of looking under the couch an usually find everything

I don't really lose things either...the only thing would be my hair ties. I only like a certain type of hair tie, and I have a bunch but never when I need them. LOL Like lately my hair is grown out long enough that I can put it in a hair tie, and I can only find one or two of them at a time. LOL

First of all today is Nov. 1, you're getting ahead of yourself unless you live in a different time zone :-))) I don't really lose stuff but I occasionally leave my keys in the door and then later wondering where I left them. Other than that, I pretty much know where everything is.

I lose my keys too. I finally decided that I had to put them in my purse so I know where they are.

I noticed that too!!

I lose my chapsticks all the time, well 'lose' as in forget where I put them in the house. I have several, and the 'central location' for them is in my nightstand by the bed, but I am always going from room to room, and checking all sorts of pockets and in between cushions.. And sometimes I just have to go to the bedroom and get another one. Because I can't be without my lip balm!!!

My cell phone or my wallet. It's not like they aren't in my purse, it's just I'm notorious for not putting it back in the same space.
