Urine Off?

Has anyone tried Urine Off? I found a really good price on it (http://www.jefferspet.com/urine-off-...lls/p/0035247/), but I'd have to buy 5 gallons at a time and I don't want to do that if it doesn't work! If it does work, I think I'd use 5 gallons in a reasonable amount of time....LOL. And how does it smell? I've bought some brands that I simply couldn't stand, I would have rather lived with the cat pee odor.

never used it , but I know a few who have and said it worked

I didn't like the residual smell that it left, and honestly it didn't work as good as Nok Out, which has only a mild residual odor. Don't buy 5 gallons until you try it at least once.

Just my opinion.

Yeah, I intend to buy a smaller thing of it first. But it drives me crazy to pay $13 for a 16-oz spray bottle! I just wanted to see if it would be worth it or not.

Bought the kit at the CNE a few years ago (came with a UV light to detect pee stains) and I liked the smell (an improvement over cat urine). It's unfortunately not available at Pet Valu or Pet Smart; so I now use Nature's Miracle "Urine Destroyer"...

Fortunately Sasha doesn't pee the bed , but the Urine Destroyer is supposed to be great to remove the smell and stains on upholstery.

I have a suggestion. Go to your local janitorial supply house and buy some professional grade urine remover. Professional cleaners run up against this problem all the time - in houses/apartments turn-overs as well as in nursing homes, etc. Most supply houses will sell to the public, and often times their cleaners are better and cheaper than what you find in retail stores.

That's what I did, and it was super concentrated so you mix 1:3 ratio cleaner to water. Worked way better than Nature's Miracle!

I use Urine Off and I don't mind the smell. It does leave behind a somewhat strong residual odor, but its preferable to the smell of cat pee! I used to use Nature's Miracle and I find that Urine Off works MUCH better (And I like the smell better). But that being said, I still have to apply it, let it dry, then wet the spot again once or twice more before the smell is completely gone, but it does work and I'd recommend it over the other enzyme cleaners I've tried.

I buy one galon at a time, and the last time I paid $28 at amazon for it. I find you have to use a lot of it on smelly urine and you have to do it several times. Fresh urine seems to come up with one use. It is suggested that when you htink the amonia smell is gone, to use a carpet extractor (assuming you are asking about carpet), to rinse it out. For me, it eventually works. Also, it does have a definite smell. I think the trick is as I mentioned to pour it on, but carefully. I am not sure about using plastic as the instructions suggest.

You may also want to check out Nok-Out. It has no smell.

Have never used Urine Off. But can highly recommend Stink Free sold at Petsmart.
