I actually had some girls run screaming from the door! I didn't know Slash was that scary...

I won't get any trick or treaters here because my apt, is offset from the road. I never had trick or treaters in my house either, so I haven't had any in 16 years.

That's so great!! However, you're not quite as scary as Slash...

My 'costume' for handing out candy consisted of pigtail braids pinned up so they stuck out funny, too much dark eyeshadow, blue lipstick, the Broncos shirt I was wearing the rest of the day (scary this season!!), multi-colored polkadot skirt, rainbow striped socks, and pink boots. One father said "Hey, it's Pippy Longstocking!" I laughed, cos i never even thought of it that way, but she was all unmatching and colorful, so yeah! It worked.

Great costumes! And good idea for scaring the kids away- that way you get to keep the Halloween candy for yourself.
