Her personality is showing more... she lets me know when to pet and when to stop (by her teeth), but is such a little purr-baby... seriously, she eats only when I'm petting her... her type from C.A.T. is "Personal Assistant" and she's cautious yet curious... earlier, when I went through the drawers in the bathroom, she stood up on her hind paws and put her front paws on the edge of the drawer to investigate what I was doing... she's very people-oriented... so far no more vocalizing between the two of them... JoJo is cautious. I'm used to JoJo's affections, but no one else ever gets to see her, she's a one-person cat. But I think Portia may bring her out more... I don't know. Time will tell. JJ's been so used to having boisterous Jack around, having someone calmer like Portia will be interesting...

The words "gorgeous' and 'beautiful' don't even come close to describing her!! What a precious angel she is!!!!
I'm so happy she has joined your "fur-mily". To know that she can live out the rest of her life surrounded by love and kindness is a great feeling for all of us!! And you're the right purrson to give her all that.

Aww, that's so great that she is really interested in being with you already. I think she will adjust to her new home really well! I hope JoJo comes around with her too and they can keep each other (and you!)good company.

Oh yeah, and she is one beautiful cat!

Maybe... never know... she sits at the gate and watches what I'm doing if she can see me. If not, she settles down on the rug or counter... no 'freak-out meow' or anything... just calm and sweet. I look at her and she purrs... seriously! A couple of nips, one to tell me she was done with the Furminator, the other to tell me she wanted me to USE my hand to pet her, instead of her just rubbing all over it...

JoJo doesn't go near the bathroom door. Not since Saturday evening when they had their growl session. I've heard nothing from either of them... thinking of maybe letting her out this evening and see how they do... if fur flies, then she goes back into the bathroom... The door has been open most of the time, with two baby gates stacked up... so seeing and smelling each other has been constant.
