Happy Gotcha Days to Shatner (Oct. 31st) and Lauren (Nov. 1st)

6 years ago today I got a sweet tiny little white kitty who turned into a love bug...

He was about 4 weeks old when we got Shatner...

I can't even express how wonderful the name Shatner is. It's inspirational to me, a hard-core Trekkie, who has a cat named Majel - after Gene Roddenberry's wife, of course.

We named him Shatner 'cause he was a little explorer and not afraid of much when he was little much like Kirk aka William Shatner on Star Trek. The name Shatner fit him well too. Now he's afraid of everything.
