Explosives found on planes bound for US!

They originated in Yemen, and were found in Dubai and the UK - and one, at least, was disguised in a printer toner cartridge. They were being sent to synagogues in Chicago. !!

One of the packages made it to the Chase corporate building in Brooklyn... My coworkers mom works there and they were evacuated for a few hours...

They said that it turned out to be nothing of any significance...

Dana had to deal with this a lot yesterday as we work for Xerox, and one of Dana's accounts were freaking out where the explosives were disguised as toner and a lot of our supplies are made overseas.

Yeah, they started investigating packages from Yemen. There were a number of planes at Newark and JFK investigated, and a plane from Yemen was escorted to landing. A lot of it turned out to be nothing, but the two packages - one found in Dubai and the one found in Britain, both addressed to synagogues in Chicago - did have explosives in them.

UPS has announced they're temporarily stopping all shipments from Yemen.
