Heart Problems?!

My cat and I returned from the cat earlier with worse news than expected. The Vet thinks she may have heart disease. I am not at all familiar with cardiomyography (heart disease). Has anyone ever had a cat have heart disease? I dont know what to do here. I am taking her in for a costly MRI but the vet thinks that if this is indeed the case she will not live much longer because it is often life threatening. Any suggestions?

Yup the same cat. The doctor called awhile ago and said she might have some kind of allergy that could have led to pnemonia. He gave her some pills for the fluid on her lungs but I still have to go for her cardiac ultrasound tomorrow.
