Pictures at the Toledo Zoo

I just got around to uploading these from last year and I'd forgotten how pretty some of them were. ^^ Just in case anyone is interested they are hosted at my D/A.

This one is my favorite - Snow Leopard!

There are a couple cheetah and tiger pics in there too but I went late in the day and all the animals were pretty tuckered out.

I don't always agree with Zoo's and keeping animals caged up but they are darn pretty to look at and educational for kids while keeping them entertained.

I am going to try to talk Cody into taking me to the Oregon Zoo for my birthday next Friday.

Oh, that's too bad! It still looks as if you saw a lot of other cool things, though. I love the polar bear photo.

I love the penguins!

You should totally go to the Oregon Zoo! It's awesome. Don't go on a Tuesday though! Oregon Zoo is Portland's #1 attraction and on Tuesday they have $2.00 Tuesday, the Zoo will be packed and you won't get a good look at the animals. We made the mistake of going there on a Tuesday and we could barely move the Zoo had so many people. We went again this past May and it was beautiful. I love it there and I'm trying to talk my husband into moving to Portland. LOL

I have been to the Oregon Zoo once and I really want to go again! I love the train ride to the park.

It would be so awesome if you moved to Portland haha we could have a kitty play date!

Btw, random, but I was just in Sparks, NV about a month ago! Just passing through but I was there.

It's a small world! We went to Seattle and Portland for our honeymoon and I fell in love with both cities. I am ready to be back in the forest and out of the desert!

I love going there, especially seeing as I'm friends with one of the veterinarians.

I'm jealous that you got a good shot of the snow leopard! I'm assuming that's the male since he's far more willing to put up with paparazzi! hehehe. Were the two leopards still separated? Last time I was there they were still being introduced split-cage style.
Let me tell you, my vet friend was STUNNED when I showed him a picture of the female right up against the fence during one of my visits this summer.
