Hello Everyone
I am new here. I have 6 cats that are all rescued and are mine and my husbands world. One of them, Bowie, is deaf. He was left behind by somebody who moved and we took him in. We adore him, but I need advice on how we can try and support him with the amount of noise he makes at night.
Sometimes its like he needs comfort. If he see a fox outside through the window or another cat he miaows and miaows so loudly. But usually it is for no reason.
This happens throughout the whole night - and it has come to my husband sleeping on the settee as he does it less if he can see us yet doesn't really want to be in the bedroom either. We have tried giving him the hallway with a comfy area in but he just scratched and miaows even louder at the door. We have tried wearing him out by playing in the evening, but that doesn't help.
It has been a long long time since we have slept all night and we have also had comments from our neighbour about it waking him up as well. It is sooooo loud!
We would never part with him so does anyone know what else we can try please?
Thank you xx
