Cooler and rainier today here. I am off to work in a bit,

Tonight I have a GTG with forum members from another forum I frequent. We get together once a month normally. I think twice next month! It's fun!

Nothing much else going on for today really.

My internet has been down at work for almost a week and its killing me. I can't even do my job properly!

Its cold and gross here. Hand scrubbing carpet spots today that drive me nuts on a regular basis..I love the fact that the previous tenants felt the need to trash the house and not care. I love scrubbing grease stains once a week for 2 years. It really gives me a true sense of satisfaction in my life. Im sure Ill find other stuff to clean and scrub and while Im at it Ill probably shampoo my Frankenstein couch too that has been sewn together more times that Joan Rivers face.

Well I'm just the picture of health today. Achy, coughing, just dragging my poor body around. So I'm skipping the gym today and also stopping in at our 2nd location for my weekly staff visit so I don't come in contact with so many people. Working 10-4 will be hard enough today! The washing machine at work is acting up as well so another item to worry about (the owners are taking some much needed time off before the holidays).

Well it shouldn't be a boring day!

Not as windy as the past couple of days but cooler and a hard freeze expected tonite.
Say goodbye to the last of the flowers.

Morning all,

Another mild day here and I'm LOVING it. I have some running around to do after work, then maybe a trip to the gym. I also get to take the "second skin" off of the new tattoo today! It's starting to itch now and driving me nuts.

Just glad it's Thursday....only one more day to go til we get the weekend. About 48 degrees and the sun is shining.

Dinner tonight will be pork chops with apples and onions and a small casserole of cheese-scalloped potatoes and carrots. We have the protein, some veggies, and a fruit.

DH is bowling early tonight, so after he leaves, I'm going to spend the night in the kitchen cooking down apples to make applesauce. He loves both smooth sauce and a chunky sauce, so I always make both kinds for the freezer. We bought Mutsu apples when we were in Connecticut this past weekend. I'll add some Granny Smiths and some Paula Reds to the mix, too. DH loves his applesauce. And I've finally gotten him to the point where I hardly add any sugar.

Happy Almost Friday! LOL

Still kinda warm here... in the 70's... I'm hoping that it cools off a little for Halloween... I'd like to be able to snuggle up in pj's and a sweatshirt for the Movie Marathon! lol

Work should be pretty boring today... I'm waiting for FedEx to drop off the checks and then I'll have nothing to do for the rest of the day! lol Can't wait until business picks up around here... and when it does I'm gonna miss these quiet days lol

Good morning!

Had a health assessment at work today, kinda wishing I didn't go cuz it made me feel bad

Everything is healthy, my good cholesterol is somewhat high (should be greater than 40, mine is 71, but she said it should be between 40-50). My body measurements are what made me sad, though she measured the wrong part for my waist, and the pants I'm wearing are thick and my BMI is 20%. She almost included my badge clip as part of the measurement

I've already been feeling crappy because ever since I put my rings back on this Monday (had to take them off Oct 9 for a pole thing, they didn't want rings on their poles, and left them off for a 2nd pole studio just in case). When I put them back on they made my finger swell up and they've felt tight the last few days

I know when I'm hot my fingers balloon up and usually all summer they stay in place and are tough to get off, in winter my fingers are "thin" and the rings twist (not helping its 85*F and humid today!), but I cant even get the darn things off now. Sooo, already feeling down about myself and my fat fingers this week !

BUT!! The Charleston Animal Society is bringing adoptable kittens & puppies to work today (and tomorrow) from 12:30-4

Hopefully that brightens my day!

Morning, hada bit of a busy morning, but that's mostly done with now except for the report I have to send off, so the rest of the day will be studying and whatnot I guess.

Supposed to go to about 80 today, that's nice! It is very cool in the house though, too cool for my liking. I wish the warm air would come inside. I think I might spend some time outside this afternoon, I can take my law book outside and study and let Genever lay in the sun in the yard with me.

Hopheads tonight, it was going to be a home tasting which we weren't going to go to, but the host's son is sick today, so it's postponed, so they're meeting at a good beer bar/BBQ place in Seal Beach instead. So I guess we might end up going out tonight anyway.
