Ok, Like is very hectic right now for me! I totally forgot until just now..

Do you wear a costume to work on Halloween?

This year, we are wearing costumes to work on Friday. My team's theme is "Sweating to the Oldies" I cut the sleeves off an old sweater and made me some leg warmers. I will wear pink shorts over black tights, A tie dyed t-shirt, long black wig and a sweatband made from the same sweater.

One of my co-workers is going as Richard Simmons. It will suit him great since he has the same high voice that Richard does. He will have to wear the shorts over sweats since we are not allowed to wear shorts to work, even if part of a costume.

They are having a costume contest on the 29th at work for a chance to win a $25 gas card. I'm only going to wear my kitty ear headband though. I don't do much in depth costumes these days. Since I work in a chemistry lab, its hard to wear costumes to work for the day. Cant have anything that drags, billowy sleeves, etc because it can soak up acid and other chemicals/sample.

We never did when we all worked at my old company... but now we were talking about dressing up on Friday... There are 6 of us, 4 guys and 2 girls so, we were discussing choosing a theme and all dressing up... some of the ideas we kicked around were "Shrek" - one of the guys would be Shrek, I was going to be Princess Fiona as an ogre and Lu would be Princess Fiona as a Human... we'd have donkey, Lord Farquard and Puss-in-boots... LOL

or maybe Gilligan's Island...

but as usual, we talk about these things and they never happen cuz we always have a meeting or a lunch or something lol BOO!

We have a race on Sunday. I may go get a witches hat or something to wear but not sure! I am probably going to just go to my fall back costume and go as a disco ball if we go anywhere. I may hit a few thrift stores Friday and see if I can find something vintage-pinup style!

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't, depending on my mood. Still not sure if I can scape something up for this year. I have a couple of ideas, so we'll see.

I don't work anymore, but one year a long time ago I had been given notice that my job was being eliminated (after 17 years with that company), so for Halloween I wore a company T-shirt that had a fake blood stain on the back of it and I made up my face to look like I had been punched in the face and put a grape in my cheek and wrote on the front of my T-Shirt that I had been stabbed in the back and slapped in the face.

I actually won the scariest costume prize! (they said it was scariest because it could happen to any of them - this was management who said it - I was a manager too!)

Never, we don't even really celebrate Halloween here. We rarely get people coming to our door and we always have choccies left... Yummy!

Halloween isn't such a big thing here either. I'm in college (although we currently have a week off) and nothing is happening there for Halloween. I think the fact it's on a Sunday will mean even less happens also.

Nope. There will definitely be some people demonstrating against foreigners on Halloween. While not exactly dangerous, it is best to not make the locals angry!

I didn't today, but one of my co-workers has two darling little girls and they came in this morning, dressed as cats! And, oh my lord, they are just darling! They have painted on whiskers and their little noses are black triangles. The youngest is a little tabby kitty and her older sister is a lion cub. They're just adorable!
