My Hand is worse than thought

Finally got to see my doctor today & my fractured hand is worse than I thought. I have to see an orthopedic surgeon ASAP. Plus, I have a UTI. Got antibiotics for that.

Then my BF is at the World Series game without me, OK only really just hit it off with him in the last 2 weeks so I can't complain. Wait. I can complain. Butzie understands this.

Grammar suffers when you have 1 hand in a splint.

Take care of that hand! So glad you got in to see your regular doctor. Drink plenty of water and all that stuff for the UTI.

Having two bum hands, I can safely say: Having hand problems suck. Its something a lot of ppl take for granted untill something happens.

that you get your hand fixed up. What exactly happened anyways? Whats the recovery process? What kind of splint do they have you wearing? I love my custom ones, they are comfy but the most restrictive. Those ones you get from the drugstore with the metal pieces in em, I don't like much. I find they allow for too much movement sometimes, and find them itchy. Hope yours is comfy.

Believe it or not, one can learn quite easily how to type with only one hand when forced into that situation. I'm sure you'll have np being able to do so

Yes. Definately complain to Butzie. Not to the new bf! Some men consider the World Series (of anything...) to be like a religious experience to their little masculine brains. Don't push involvement until he is ready. Lol.

Seriously though sucks about your hand. What did they say was wrong? Are you expecting surgery? I had to g see orthopedic "surgeons" just for treatment without surgery on several things. Do what they tell you to do!

Also I hate hate hate UTIs! Drink lots of fluids, my doc says cranberry juice is good if you can stand it (I dislike it). Oh and you probably need to call them back for an antifungal for the ensuing yeast infection that will result from the antibiotics...
