Nora's first experience with wind/leaves

About once a day or so we let Nora go out onto our front porch to roll around on the concrete, eat grass, and chase bugs. We just recently started doing this as she never really showed an interest before. Now she loves it. We always go out with her and never leave her unsupervised. She rarely makes it further than just past the steps b/c she hates walking in grass.

Today, like everyone else, we're having crazy winds. This is the first time she has experienced leaves, let alone leaves that are blowing around. She thought they were bugs to chase and eat. LOL It was pretty funny. When my husband picked her up to bring her inside, her heart was beating about a million beats a minute. lol We caught it on video, and at the end you can see her with a leaf in her mouth. lol Sorry it's so loud (wind), you may want to turn the volume down.

Aww, that's so cute! Nora looks like she had a blast!

We're having the same (crazy) winds here, too - although it's only about 35F here so the outside kitties aren't so crazy about the blowing leaves (oh yeah & it's been snowing/raining today, too).

She looked confused as far as which leaf to chase when there were so many blowing around!

My guys run from window to window chattering at the leaves blowing around... oh ... and at the chipmunks... and the birds. It's been busy around here this fall!!

I love how she's watching before she springs into action. And, I smiled when she caught a leaf at the end.

So cute. Kind of looked like she thought they were chasing her. Then when she found a lone one it was grab time.

I couldn't help thinking of Alice in Wonderland when she is attacked by the playing cards.

Too cute! So many "bugs" and just not enough kitty to go around catching them all!

Loved the ending with the single leaf! She finally caught one and looked so relieved, like she concured (sp?) the world!
