Well, it's another lovely day here in Ottawa. Sunny and warm!

I think this might be the last day like this though. We are going for another walk at lunch today.

I think I am staying late at work tonight to catch up and then we are going to see Josh's aunt who is visiting.

Doing one of the two household chores i hate when i get home....Changing the bedding!

It 's a king size and the beds quite high, but if i was an extra 4" high it might not be so bad

its a lovely but windy day here today so i am not venturing out haha

im goin to paint my nails i think! i painted them black last night so i need to put a pattern on them today. I havent got work till tomorrow and im in all weekend.

It is kinda chilly this morning but supposed to be really nice by the afternoon! I am looking forward to it

We have a little bit of yard cleanup after the storms yesterday.
In the meantime, I have a bit of cleaning to do before my daycare kiddos arrive, so I need to get moving and work on that.

Morning!

It's about 61 degrees this morning; we had the windows open all night and the cats loved being able to be in the windows. Had a bit of rain and a lot of wind....but we kept the windows open anyway.

I put a large crockpot full of chili on this morning. I had browned ground beef, onions, and a good mixture of bell and mariachi peppers last night while making dinner and then put it all in the fridge. This morning all I had to do was mix it all together with the kidney beans, tomatoes, and lots of seasoning....I like a spicy chili. A nice pan of Vermont Maple Cornbread will go into the oven when I get home from work and that will be dinner.

My GF and I have graphics homework to do tonight. Other than that, not too much going on.

Its another very windy day today. High wind warnings until 7 pm. The winds will diminish a bit but will still stay windy-er than normal until friday. The peak gust recorded in Wisconsin was 68 mph! Temps are only to reach upper 40's today.

I've been lucky to avoid the mid fall illness that has been going around work but this morning I think my lucky streak has ended. A bit achy, sore throat and cough. Have to stop at drug store before work to pick up some OTC medicine. Needless to say I'm skipping the gym today.

Have a chicken casserole prepped for final baking in the refrigerator for dinner tonite.

Off to the shower in a bit.

Morning,

Rainy and mild again today which I don't mind AT ALL. As long as it's warm it can rain all it wants.

Working from home today cuddled up with my Pria...

She is finally starting to grow, and it is hard to fit both her AND my laptop on my lap...lol.

I want to get some reading today along with a workout, but other than that, nothing going on.

Still snowing and blowing here and I am bracing myself for a good long snow removal session later this morning. Highways are closed for most of the southern part of the province, no flights in or out of Regina, trucks stuck in drifts blocking city access - if it's like this in October, I am sure as H-E-double hockey sticks gonna hate to see when it is REALLY winter. "They" say this is gonna melt by weekend, but I just cannot bring myself to believe that with this amount of snow. I just hope they re-open the roads by Friday.

Good Morning All!!

It's an odd day here in NY... Dreary and drizzly... and unseasonably WARM! The last I heard it was 72 degrees...

Wednesday is payroll day here so I'm about to start processing the payroll... Which is fairly painless at this point...

I have dinner plans with my sister-in-law... (not BF's sister, my 'brothers' wife) Can't wait to see what she makes!!

2 more days till Friday & BF coming home from Virginia!!

. I have to get ready in a little bit to go to a meeting at work. Does anyone want to go for me? I don't really mind too much I am just in a goofy mood this morning. I guess I will flat iron my hair before I go as noone at work has seen me with my hair straightened before cause its always in a ponytail because of working on the floor. I have the night off so I will be coming home once the meeting is done although I have thought about going early to check out the thrift shop but I am not motivated to get out of my pjs yet

Pixie is doing really good just loving on me. So what is everyone else doing this morning ?

Was going to run to grocery store but need to bathe dog and do my normal cat stuff. I'm hungry and not much doable food in house. Thank god for soups tho..

Still have yet to get a sample on cat,hes avoiding box if anything but his litter and his litter I cant get urine off of.

Morning.. bright and sunny here in the LBC. Cool though, oh wait I see it's 73 out! It's cold in the hbouse, I better open windows and let some warm air in!

It's supposed to go up to 82 today, that's cool! I might do some weeding in the garden, I think it's not quite mud anymore from all of last week's rain.

Homework and studying to do, but it's really hard with the LOUD construction going on next door. I HATE IT!

I should go to the library or something maybe. I don't know. Anyway, I have school tonight, so.. yep, not much excitement happening.

Well have a good day, hope the midwest weather calms down a bit soon!!

Well here we are at the end of October and I have my a/c going. It is in the 70's but the worst part is that the humidity is over 90% so it's very sticky in here. I was uncomfortable all night because of the humidity and I should have turned on the a/c last night but I didn't. Today tho I just had to, it was way too uncomfortable in here. Tomorrow is supposed to go back to the 50's and I am looking forward to that. Looks like I won't be needing my flannel sheets till January or February of next year

I'm just glad I didn't put them on my bed yet.
