My friend had to rehome her furbaby because her son was deathly alergic. She's a 4-year old Tortie Shell. I'm in love. I've wanted another tortie shell since mine passed from FELV in 2008.

She's doing very well with the move. She's never been moved before --- always lived in one house. So I thought just the move alone would be stressful for her; muchless, having a new mommy. I brought her home late Sunday night, and gave her the spare bedroom. Tuesday, she came out on her own and was snuggling with me like she knew me from day one.
It'll be awhile until I introduce her to the rest of the clan. I want her to feel completely secure with me first.

So, now I am up to 3 cats, 1 sun conure parrot, 1 eclectus parrot, 2 finches, and 1 lion head rabbit.

It's a full house, but I love all my babies to death!

And you may remember Buddy that I adopted from the SPCA about 2.5 years ago. He is doing well and is the most affectionate cat I have ever met!

Screwball, who I have had since she was 6 wks old - now 8:

Mr. Beepies, my Sun Conure Parrot - He'll be 2 in December:

Ellie, my Eclectus Parrot - She'll be 3 on January 1:

My finches, Cinnamon & Nutmeg (they're spice finches):

And finally, Tiger, my Double Lion-Head Rabbit:

You have a beautiful family! I love the "blaze" on Screwball's nose...so pretty.

Congrats on the new addition!

Congratulations on your new family member and hurray for you for giving her a forever home after being dumped by her family. (yes I know "allergies" pffffft) It sounds and looks like she has settled right in, so it was meant to be. What's her name?

And thanks for showing us the rest of your family. What a beautiful happy household of fur and feather!
