Vet confusion

Charlie had an appointment today to get his distemper shot. So while I was there I asked how long he should be on the antibiotics- he's on amoxicillin for his cold and another one to treat coccidia- the vet was like those two antibiotics work against each other then why was he put on both of them at the same time???? So now he is to stop taking the one for coccidia until friday and then start that back up I mean why on earth would you put a 5 week old kitten on 2 drugs that don't go together? I am just really frustrated....thinking seriously about changing vets. I've had him up there 3 times and each time he has seen a different vet

I'd switch vets! Hopefully the meds didn't do him harm taking them at the same time....geez what crackerjack box did your vet get his/her license from?

He's been acting fine, very playful. Needless to say I am upset! I think I will switch vets thanks!
