IMOM (In Memory of Magic) is a wonderful charitable group set up to help with vet expenses. Many of you will have already heard of them, and they're also recommended here at The Cat Site, on this page which the "Can't Afford A Vet?" topic pinned to the top of this forum links to:

They now have a critical need for volunteers to donate time to help with this very important work. They won't be able to stay open without more volunteers.
The page below shows how much help they've been able to give people whose pets needed veterinary care their owners simply couldn't afford:

One of our Lighthouse members who's active with IMOM posted it on one of our boards and I've posted it on the other, and on our Facebook page, because it would be terrible if this great organization had to shut down permanently for lack of volunteers.
I wanted to post it here, too, since you love pets, and I think all of you understand how expensive veterinary care can be, and how hard (if not impossible) it is for some people to afford at times even when they'd do anything for their pets. This is why organizations like IMOM are so very important.
