Beef is a 6 month old tortie who my daughter raised from a day or two old with her sisters, Mighty and Taco.

Beef is the runt. Lately, she has been crying out after eating like she is in pain. Last night was worse than usual. She did the crying out, then went and laid on my daughters lap. Now, Beefy is a real "neader". It takes forever for her to finally lay down. But last night she just kind of fell over.

My daughter could feel her shaking.

So, Beef has an appointment at 10:45 this am at our vet. If anyone can spare some TCS vibes for our little gal, that would be greatly appreciated. These kittens are so dearly loved by her and her family. I just hope it is something that can be dealt with.

Thanks guys.

Well, the vet thinks it's either a worm mass or an intestinal infection. So they dewormed her and are treating her for the other.

She went right upstairs and crawled in with her sisters on a chair and fell asleep.

Soooo, lets hope this clears up the Beefster!!

Thanks for all the good wishes. We are kindred spirts here at TCS!

Thanks for the update. I've been haunting this thread. Glad she is home now, keep us posted on the baby!

What are they treating her with? Flagyl? No blockage is suspected? Did they do an x ray? Sometimes it can be as simple as gas pains.
