Well, I'm happy to say that it's going to be 19 degrees today

A bit of an Indian Summer I might say!

We are going for a walk at lunch today!

Coming home to study as per the usual.

Hi all, well its a lovely rainy day here

I'm not happy because I've got to go to the shops in a bit and I don't drive, so we're all going to get very wet.I woke up in the night with a bad stomach and I was really sick, I feel better today just tired, I think its just a bug going round. Apart from thet its all quiet today......even Harvey

It was raining first thing this morning but it's not too bad now.

Spag bol for tea tonight. I made so much bolognese last night i could feed the street, but at least i can freeze it

Gotta play Bob Vila today with a screw gun and drill. Our stupid coffee table broke last night. Between me picking it up to sweep under it and Max running into it the cheap particle board that was screwed into the corner has started falling apart, basically desinigrating (I know that spelled wrong lol) so Im gonna try and figure out a way to shimmy it back together so it lasts atleast till the craft fair next weekend. Maybe Ill get lucky and find what Im looking for. We have been looking to replace it for a while now but every store we have gone to just doesnt have what we are looking for, soon Ill just get some more barn wood or something and make us a new one so I get exactly what I want.

Other than being a handy (wo)man today I just be doing more laundry and other stuff around the house...Bleh another boring day.

Ruthy, feel better sweetie!

I was so exhausted yesterday that I passed out at 8:00PM and slept right through until 7:00AM this morning.

Guess I needed it huh?

Working from home on this rainy day. At least the temp is mild though. Depending on how I feel, we'll probably head to the gym this evening. Hope you all enjoy your day!

Good morning

A better start to today! Woke up with Nero on my head and Hoshi at my feet, took a nice refreshing wake up shower (usually I shower at night because I'd rather "sleep in" as long as possible, but decided to go to bed early), and managed to get to work before 7:30 today

Felt a little achy from yesterday's workout with my friend (and we only worked out for 2 hours instead of our usual 4-4½!)

Supposed to rain a little this morning, and be warmer and muggy this afternoon in the low 80s. I'm ready to go home and take a nap just thinking about it

Going to go get some more stuff for my SS this afternoon, then I should just about be wrapped up with buying (and maybe wrapping!), and just have to decide when to send it

Morning!

We're in an Indian Summer pattern, too, with temps in the 70s for a few days. DH took advantage of the nice weather to get some outside work done: clipping plants and flowers, cleaning out the gardens, painting his wheelbarrow, etc. Fall vacation days were meant for outside work.

Showers on and off, nothing big. Maybe a t-storm or two, according to our local weatherweenies.

I'm going out to lunch today with my best friend! I've known him now for well over 20 years. He moved out to Minnesota and is now a Pentecostal preacher with his own church; it's what he's wanted to do ever since I've known him. He and his wife are back in PA for a visit before driving into Virginia to visit with some of her relatives. I baked him a honey bun cake, his favorite cake in the world, to take with him to VA....not that it will last until then!

Waiting for the storm to hit - whitecrap is starting to fall and the wind is screaming. Guess the wait is over in the time it took to type that sentence...neighbour's yard disappeared in that short space of time and the whitecrap is falling sideways and getting thicker by the second. Hang on, you easterners, I am pushing this mess east as fast as I can!!!LOL

Ah, good afternoon.

I was out most of the morning running errands. Back now for a bit and I have some more stuff to do too, and then I'm making a new recipe for dinner tonight out of one of my new cookbooks I got for cheap. Leek Pie with Potato Crust, it sounds really yummy. I'll probably make some peas to go with it.

Also have to so some studying as usual, and job searching. Probably will take Genever out in the yard for a while in a little bit too, she's whining.

I have not been sleeping so well at night because of the pain in my hand so I missed my 12:30 salsa class. Butzie was sleeping with me and her warmth kept my asleep. Bummer. I can dance with my fractured hand.
