My year and a half boy, Tigger, recently had a bout with diarrhea due to some bacterial imbalance. He has always been trained to go both ways (poop and pee) in his litter box. When he had diarrhea, he was unable to control his poop and he would go all over the house. Now that he is back to normal, he is able to pee in his litter box but now unable/unwilling to poop in his litter box and he has taken to pooping on the floor next to this box. I have wiped his box clean and have replaced the litter multiple times to no avail.
What do I do? Any help would be highly appreciated.
