It took about 6 hours, with a couple of breaks in between, so needless to say, I've had enough pain to last me awhile.
I love it SO much though... It's exactly what I hoped it would be!

It's pretty, but I'm going to be honest.

I think it's too big for your arm.

It also took me a while to see that there was a kitty at the bottom. It kinds of gets lost because it drops off into nothing, blending into your skin and at first sight looks like a gap in the tattoo.

Trapped in the catroom! ;o)
I think its gorgeous. I love just those little touches of color and the kitty at the bottom is just gorgeous...

Out of curiousity, are you going to turn it into a sleeve? If not its still lookes great but if you do I think its a great start to a sleeve.

I appreciate your honesty.
I wanted it big though. I also think the kitty will pop a lot more once it's healed, but if not, I'm still happy with how it looks.

Tyler, I was going to get a full sleeve, all the way around, but where I used to be quite overweight, the skin is really damaged, and underneath it hangs quite a bit and is harder to tattoo. The damaged skin doesn't take the ink very well unfortunately.

Also, I just wanted to say that when this is all healed, it is going to look more like a water color painting. Everything was shaded, as opposed to being filled in so that it looks more artsy than cartoonish.

Thanks guys, I really am thrilled with it myself.
I think all the shading adds more of a 3 dimentional feel to it as opposed to 2 dimentional. Not to mention the design means a LOT to me, which makes the whole thing that much better.

Two BIG thumbs up Kailie Girl!!!! It will be even more amazing when it heals!!! I appreciate the pain you went through. It's beautiful...do you find getting tats addicting? I got my first a year ago and really want another one.
