You can read more about this girl in my introduction thread

Have lots of pictures that I wanted to share with you! She's only been at home with us since Friday, so still a little nervous, but on the whole seems really rather happy!

Isn't she pretty?

I have a big ole soft spot for brown tabbies!! she is a lovely girl...and full of personality by the look in her eyes in a couple of those pics

Any idea of Meow's age? She has that "worldy wise" look about her...

She's gorgeous! I don't think she looks at all nervous either.

Meow is just gorgeous! Whoever it is who thinks that plain brown tabbies are boring and uninspired is insane. Brown tabbies are some of the most beautiful, special cats there are. And, it's apparent that Meow is no exception to that!

I'll admit, I haven't read your introduction thread yet, but I just wanted to say welcome to TCS! Not only to you, but to your lovely girl, Meow, as well! I agree that she doesn't appear nervous or uncomfortable -- she looks right at home in her, well, new home!

Please continue to share pictures of Meow. She's lovely . I definitely hope to see both you and Meow around TCS in the future!

Thanks all. I really do think she's a beautiful girl too (although I may be a little biased hehe!) and she's the most friendly girl ever.

Well, at least 5, that's all I can tell you. She may be 5, she may be 10 - we have no idea really and I'm not sure how you can 'age' a cat, if you can?

And don't worry, I can't stop taking pictures of her!

Brown tabbies are the modern manifestation of the original "Little African Wildcat." This is the cat that historians say walked into the Egyptian villages along the Nile River and made it possible for those villages to expand into huge cities with the protection they provided for the large graineries needed to store the plentiful annual grain harvests.

Meow is beautiful! And from one mom of a gorgeous brown tabby to another, little brown tabbies are gorgeous and not for one moment boring!

Thanks everyone!

She seems to be settling in very well now - spending much more time downstairs, and she spent most of yesterday evening/night curled up in the living room, which was really lovely to see. She's exploring much more and isn't as worried to walk around. She's walking around happily with little persuasion and she just seems to be settling really well She's like a dog though, begging for food from me! Having a cat curled up next to me on the sofa again is just lovely.
