I am so happy!!!

This morning I went to feed the cats, been having some trouble within the colony, one of the cats has gotten aggressive over the food, she was the first on the scene everytime I would feed, and then she would wait on any of the others who were trying to approach to eat also. She started running them off, and take a swipe at them. She did this to one of the more fragile
kitties, whom she was raised with, Sweet Love, who would just lay down and bleak her eyes really fast, and would shake whenever she started her way! Then she would try to get away, and Lil Sis, would chase her into the woods, it has gotten so bad that I was feeding or trying to feed Sweet Love separately, she did the same to her, but when she caught up to SL, she bit
her on the side of the face, (didn't know this until today, but I heard SL scream whenever she caught her).
I couldn't find SL at all yesterday, or last night, so today, I drove in the Airport, and I saw her come out of the woods, and I thought
that is it....she won't have a chance in those woods, got out to feed her and the side of her face and eye were swollen! I fed her and rushed home, got the carrier, and went back to get her, I thought she would put up a fight trying to get her in the carrier! She was a little , but she went right on in!
She is such a doll, I brought her to the vet. he was really busy, but he took her out of the carrier and she was such a good girl! he gave her a shot, and I decided to let him keep her and on Monday she will be tested for Felv .
say prayers, that she will test negative for that, cause I can't keep her then,
I will never watch another one die of that God forsaken disease. As I lost 2 this past yr to it, and had to PTS both, after trying to help them! that was when I stopped being on here at all . I couldn't handle it!
So hopefully SL will not be infected and she will be spay!! and she will live the rest of her life here at my house!
That is why I am so happy, besides what LDG did for me also!!!!

Oh Monique! We've missed you! I knew you were having trouble with local people and authorities - but I didn't know (or didn't remember ) that some of the kitties were turning up with FeLV. I'm so sorry sweetie.

We had our first kitty turn up with something - "thankfully" it was FIV, not FeLV. (See my siggy). Chum now lives with us (thus we have 8 now LOL).

SO glad you found her and she knew she needed to go to the vet! Mega vibes Sweet Love tests negative!

Sending lots and lots of vibes that there is a happy ending to this story!

I just got the call, and Sweet Love is negative for Felv!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I'm really happy!!! she is probably being spayed as I write this!!! Such a precious doll!!
Laurie, losing G and Patches, well it was just horrible! Bless them both! Life at my house has not been the same, of course I have had one big boy,
"Buddy" come up out here, he is absolutely the cooliest, he is part Simese,
and part Tabby, I had him neutered, oh and he has blue eyes, and they are crossed! He loves music, and has the best personality!
Then, I have had another Tom come up, "Cracker" he is gorgeous, all white, he is sweet, but he and Buddy did fight at first, need to get him fixed soon!
But ... "ALRIGHT SWEET LOVE" saying prayers for your surgery!!!!!!!!!!!!

She didn't get to have the surgery this afternoon, because someone came in with a very sick calf, and he had to do surgery on it! But the girl called me and told me she went and got her, and put her in an exam room alone to let her run around for about 1/2 hr. I was very thankful for that!!
I talked to my friend at the paper, and then I have emailed everything that I have now to her, I haven't receieved any emails from you though? I wonder why? anyway have a wonderful evening!!
