I was wondering if someone could give me some tips or advice of how to stop the litter box problem I am having with my cat.
What happened was me and my girlfriend decided to move her out of her apartment into my house. She has two females a 3 yr old and a 7 yr old. Well I already have a 3 year old neutered male. So no biggie, the problem comes in with the 7 year old female.. We have 4 litter boxes set up, so its not an issue of everyone can't have their own box. Their are two litter boxes down stairs, and eventually the three year old female adjusted fine and started to go down stairs. Well the 7 year old decided to start pooping in a carpet room off the kitchen rather than going down stairs. So to try and fix this problem we stuck 2 litter boxes in their. Needless to say she's still pooping on the carpet and not in the litter box... I am not sure how to fix this problem.. We've had this problem for probably 4-5 months now..
Thanks for your help in advance..
