What should we call this kitty?

This is our 3rd kitty - a siamese mix boy about 3.5 months old right now. His markings is more gray than brown. He's very playful, brave and almost fearless. His foster mum has 5 dogs (no cats) and one of them was a greyhound and he was not scared of him at all! If he didn't get rescued by the foster mum from a local rescue, he would have been euthanize.



Some front runners (not in order):

* Loki
* Niku
* Milo

I actually do prefer non human names, but can't find of any!

Other names we considered by DH or I do not like:
* Bodhi (I don't like this name on human but thought it'd be cute for a cat)
* Meeze
* Tyce
* Myx
* Micah
* Luca
* Chunee
* Crayon (mostly because my husband and I pronounce it differently)
* Chibi
* Gazelle

I think we prefer 2 syllables names. One may be okay. (We do have another cat with a 3 syllables names, but she's very girly and a frilly name just suits her).

I vote for Micah! What a GORGEOUS boy! Thank goodness for his foster Mom rescuing him and congrats on your adorable new fur baby!

I like Micah, too.

Here is info on the source of the name:
The name Micah is a baby boy name. The name Micah comes from the Hebrew origin. In Hebrew The meaning of the name Micah is: Variant of Michael: Who is like God? Gift from God.

Oh look at that gorgeous little face! Reminds me of a baby "Houdini", one of my former foster kittens. Named such as *no* cage at the shelter could contain him - he escaped them all!

PS for what it's worth, when I look at him I agree with some of the others that his name IS Micah. Ask him, he'll tell you.

I like Micah, but husband said it reminds him of Fromica the countertop?!?

What a precious little blue colorpoint. He is just too cute for words! Congratulations on your newest addition. What a sweetheart (though, I do think I detect some cattitude in that pic ). As far as names, here are the ones from your list that I like:

Loki
Bodhi
Meeze

I'm going to be contrary and admit that I don't like the name Micah very much. I'm with your DH on this one.

And, here are three suggestions I came up with on my own:

Meeko
Zephyr
Peyton

Good luck naming the new kitty. I'm sure he'll let you know what his name should be in no time!

What a pretty kitty! My name suggestion would be Lupin, but that's not on the list. Mr. Meeze sounds good, too.

He looks like he's full of mischief so I can definitely see him as Loki. Loki was god of mischief and tricks after all!

Thanks for all your input! We still haven't decided yet... need to think of one before next Tuesday when we take him to the vet for a check up!

One of our other cats have an eye infection so we'd been dealing with that and got kinda side tracked... will update when we settle on something!

Loki was still the front runner, but DH had a bad association with it and the kittey really is a nice kitty and not mischievous at all.

We decided to call him Sesame instead
