Hello! My name is Amanda, I joined for my friend. I don't. Know much about cats my friend rescued a kitten at 8 weeks he crawled in n engine of a car. He is now 11 weeks old. Shes having problems handling him now. He keeps her up all hours of the night. Picks fights with her 2 year old female cat. (Spayed) and bites her. She tried a water bottle, he doesn't care for it, bitter apple spray on her hands.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

This kitten sounds like it was abandoned too early and was weaned from its mother too young. Kittens like that are more apt to social problems, since they learn good manners from their mothers. AllI can suggest is for your friend to tire the thing out as much as possible by playing with it a bunch, and feeding it a lot. After a while, the kitten will become more affectionate. Your friend needs to understand what the kitten is feeling. It was in an engine block three weeks ago! Imagine the series of events that lead to it getting there, and you can see why it is taking some time for this kitten to adjust.

It could also be a feral kitten, which would explain the biting and aggressiveness towards other cats.
