Is this a ringworm lesion on me?

I have in the past battled this nasty fungus with my pets. I did EVERY THING possible to eradicate it (oral, topical, preventative treatment, invasive cleaning/disinfecting, replacing furniture/flooring, etc etc etc). My pets have been clear (as far as I can tell) for five months. I give high dose PROGRAM as a preventative (which seems to help) and bath weekly.

About a month ago I got an itchy "lesion" on my armpit. Just one and I did treat it with antifungal cream incase it was ringworm - I am paranoid. It went away and I figured it wasn't actually ringworm and my family also tried to convince me of this because they know how hard I worked to get rid of it!

I forgot all about it until three days ago when I woke up in the middle of the night to go potty (lol) and started scratching under my breast. I felt a raised bump and looked in the mirrior and there was another red lesion. And in the crease under my breast also was red. Ringworm was the first thing that came to mind. The lesion (pictured below) looked nothing like any thing else I could find online. It also was raised, had/has flaking skin and it's itchy. I've been putting antifungal cream on it frequently. It is about half the size of a dime.

I keep trying to convince myself that ringworm lesions are bigger and normally more then one lesion developes and therefore it CAN'T be ringworm! But, I think chances are slim that it is some thing else. What could it be?!

First - in your opinion, is this a ringworm lesion?? If you have had ringworm before, is this what it looked like? Was it this size??
Second - how do I have a ringworm lesion after seeing no evidence of ringworm for five months! None of my pets (TOUCH WOOD A MILLION TIMES OVER!!!) have had symptoms of ringworm. I just don't understand. I wash all of my laundry with bleach and clean and disinfect frequently as well and even fog!!

PLEASE - advice!

Thank you
Cait

It might be. The crevice spot looks like heat rash, the round spot looks kind of moist for ringworm. When I had it, the spot was scaly from go and pale in the center with a red raised ring that gradually grew to about the circumference of a mediumish pony tail band. And it itched, a lot. It might glow under uv light if it is ringworm but only roughly half of cases will glow.

I had ringworm (from my cat) a year ago and it never looked like that. It was more like a target (round ring very red) and white in the middle. Have you checked your cats to see if they have any lesions?

I've had ring worm before, and it can itch, and the spot itself feels very dry. You can try some Fungi-Nail from the drug store. You just brush it on. It smells to high heaven but it killed all ringworm I ever got within a few days. Good luck <3 I never found any ringworm on any of my cats either, so I figure I just picked it up somewhere. I get them rarely anymore. Just check the back of the bottle and make sure it says it will kill ringworm too.

Do you have ticks in your area? It sort of looks like the bullseye rash that you can get from them. If it is that, it's a classic sign of lyme disease.

If you weren't bit by a tick, then it could very well be ringworm. Try the medication you put on athlete's feet.

Just to add, I had one on my breastbone not a year ago and it was the size of a quarter. Went away fast with the Fungi-Nail stuff. Keep an eye on that and hope the antifungal works!
