Hi everyone! Holland and I are back after taking a break from message boards. Holland thought I was spending too much time on the computer and not enough with her.

Her new favorite place to be is... my lap! It's weird, she's never been much of a lap kitty. I tried to get some good pictures, but didn't do so well. Here's one:



No more pictures, please, I'm sleeping!!



She never wants me to use the computer...



She still tricks me with this one everytime... Who can resist rubbing this tummy?!?



But it's a trap. Here's how she looks after I rub her belly and am thanked with her putting her front paws around my wrist and gumming my hand to death. She's usually pretty gentle with the claws, though.

There's that sweetie-pie pretty girl Holland!!

That's cool she became a lap cat. Genever never did laps until almost a year after we got her, BF and I went to England and she stayed at our friend's house (her 'Uncle' Scott) and when we got back he said she was on his lap all the time. What?? Well, ever since then she's on our laps a lot too. I love it!

These closeups of Holland make me cry. They remind me how much I still mix my Max, soulmate cat. He has been gone since July 2005, but I still miss him. I love these silky black cats. Their fur is like velvet. Can I come over and hug Holland a little.

Holland is ridiculously cute.

For the longest time, I was not a big fan of black cats. I think it was only after finding TCS and seeing photos and reading the anecdotes about them that I am now warm to them. It certainly has changed my taste as well as my perspective.

I think she wanted to prove my point about the computer, because I took these immediately after I posted the first message:

It can be difficult to get good pictures of black cats. These are so good and Holland is as beautiful as ever. I love the ones of her keeping the computer away from you!

I, too, wondered where the heck you two were. I figured maybe you were busy moving or something. Anywhere, as usual, gorgeous pix. I wish you'd come to my house to take pictures of my black kitties. I can't seem to do them justice.
