Toby is roughly 4 months old and we noticed a few days ago that his upper left fang is gone. Is this a tooth that kittens typically lose? We have never noticed the loss of this tooth in any of our other kittens.
Also if this is not a tooth he is supposed to lose, will it hurt him that it is gone? Will it grow back? Should he see a vet because of this?
Thanks for any info!

*We have not noticed any differences in his eating/sleeping/litterbox habits, just a missing tooth*

At his age, he is losing teeth and they will regrow. Could have been more startling for you - both teeth could have been there, the emerging one and the one about to fall out.

This is perfectly normal. When Tumbles was around that age, the vet told us that they're like kids. Some will loose the tooth, then the new one will grow in it's place and some will have the adult canine grow in behind the kitten tooth, then the kitten tooth will fall out. Tumbles' grew in behind the kitten tooth and he looked really weird for a week or so until the old teeth fell out.
