The Maiden Nap in the Catnapper

Tumbles has been observing Callie in the catnapper. This past Sunday, I put him in the catnapper and he couldn't get out fast enough. This is what he thinks of it today:

Last night, he was all spread out on the couch. I don't see how sleeping all twisted can be comfy.

Just a little bit ago, he was waiting for me to come back in the house from outside in the garden.

Sidenote: Where did you get that catnapper? I assume it is an actual product?

Aww, sleepy Tumbles...

Yes, I too want to know about that catnapper thingy! Since we moved, I have given up on keeping Genever off the kitchen table in the morning to lay in the sun, she just won't listen to me when I tell her we don't put our feet on the table, so she can't either. So I just sanitize a whole lot more often. She doesn't like the windowsill for some reason, I think maybe it's not wide enough for her comfort? But if we had a shelf or something like that, she might give the table a rest.

Of course he didn't like it when YOU put him on it... you should know by now that it has to be the CAT'S idea!!

Here's the window perch that I have. http://www.petco.com/product/3225/Ca...eCat=CatS_RGtr There are a couple of others out there that are similar, but I've had this one for over 10 years and it's holding up well. I can't remember where I got the gray cover, though. The lambskin one got dirty quickly. At first, I had it taped to the windowsill, but when we moved into our house, we mounted it on the sill with screws.

So comfy-cozy. I've had those cat nappers before and they are wonderful for the kitties to lay in the window and nap or look out at the world. In my old apartment, when I had four cats, I had one in every window.

Oh, Tumbles is so beautiful! I love it when they stretch out like that I love seeing photos of Tumbles and hearing about his adventures.

Jackz, Jazzy & Ginga.

Tumbles is just gorgeous! What a pretty boy!

We've had our catnapper (from Foster and Smith) now for many years. About every three years or so, we get a replacement cover for it because we've had as many as four cats in that thing at one time! Especially when there's something very interesting going on in the front yard and the cats have to watch. The cover will start to sag and then we replace it. And now Mollipop likes to play on it, chasing her tail and going around in circles....her claws are doing a number on it. It's time to get another replacement cover.

The first time I ever put Mollipop in the catnapper, she froze. She didn't know what to do. Gave it a sniff, then flopped. And went to sleep!

When you put him in it, he realized how nice it was, but it had to be his idea don't you know.

I can never see enough pictures of Tumbleweed, he is so plush.

Tumbles is so handsome. And, he looks so comfortable in the catnapper (twisted like a pretzel, not so much).
