As most of you know, my brother, Tyler, is a tattoo artist. The kid has been drawing in one way or another since he was old enough to hold a pencil!

A few years back, as a birthday gift, he gave me the following drawing, all framed and everything.

I cried, seriously. He drew this just for me! It means a lot! So I've been thinking for awhile that I want to get this as a tattoo. I thought it would be even cooler if he could make the cat in the picture my Pria, so I gave him this photo.

I'm going into the shop Sunday afternoon to have it done!
It's going to be pretty much a half sleeve on my upper right arm and it'll be mostly greyscale with some pops of color. I am SO EXCITED! I'll post pics of the finished result.

Thanks hun, I'm SO excited to get it. It'll take awhile, but shouldn't be too painful considering where I'm getting it. I'm frickin' addicted to tats.

yay!! I love tattoos. I want my 7th but I won't be able to for awhile! I have the designs for 3 picked out already, one for my upper middle back, one for my right wrist, and an idea of the design I want for a half sleeve on my right upper arm.
It's too bad they are expensive

I can't wait to see pictures once its done. Good luck!

They ARE very expensive, but luckily where my brother does them , I'll either get them as gifts, or at a discount. I'm giving him $200 for this one though because it's going to be quite big. This tat would normally cost more than double that. 3 of my tats were gifts from him, and the others were highly discounted. I too have lots more ideas after this one even, lol. I'm not sure when/if I'll ever stop!

That's incredible! Your brother is very talented. You should get one with each of the nifty nine. I'd love to get a tat. I have one all planned out and everything, but I'm always on call at work, so I'm not sure when I'll have the 4 hours free to do it.

Wow! That's beautiful, and the picture of Pria will be perfect as the kitty within the tat. Can't wait to see the finished piece.

My hubby just had 4 new pieces done, one a week for the last 4 weeks. (don't know what came over him!) All of his were Alaskan Totemic pieces, all on his forearms.
