Name ONE thing that made you happy today!

Let's be positive people, there is enough negativity in the world and it's too easy to find.

For me, my coffee made me happy this morning

Every morning I wake up and send my husband off to work with a kiss. Then I sit at the computer and do some work for my online "job"...and every single morning, my kitten Joey runs into the living room, lets our a kitten cry and climbs onto my lap. He gets in the way and I always have to move him, but he sleeps for about 2 hours at my side/on my lap every single morning. It makes me feel so loved that he chooses to spend each morning curled up next to me.

I am happy that I have the luxury of being able to work from home when I need to. It is SO convenient, especially if one is sick or needs to be home for one reason or another. Not to mention I have Pria on my lap kneading and purring away, and I don't think they'd be impressed if I brought her into the office.

Last night, we had an incredible time at dinner. There were five of us from work and I haven't laughed like that in a long time. You know the group of people who are very loud and laughing and carrying on in a restaurant? Well, last night? That was us! The food was delicious and the margaritas were excellent. Other people who came in after we did said to their waitresses: "We want whatever they're having!" Got home around 9:30 or so and I was still laughing. We don't do that nearly often enough.

Next time? Mongolian!

This happend at breakfast

When Jack wants to play he stands right up close to Sophie, but Sophie doesn't want to and she sits and growls at him, but the look on Jack's face creases me up because he'll just sit there and make his eye's smaller giving her slow blinkies

I'm trying to be happy because I have a loving and supportive boyfriend who doesn't know how to be here for me but he is trying and that makes me happy that helps me work past not only my pain but also his pain from the loss of Fatman. We can make it together and that makes me happy and gives me hope.

So far what made me happy this morning was Fed Ex delivered a small cat tree for the cats, and there is a hole in it...for skinny cats...not Mario or Sev, they looked like Winnie the Pooh stuck in Rabbits front door after he ate all the honey, Wish I had the camera handy

I'm happy because I found out that I can move in 10 days, not 11. If we couldn't move until November 1, it would make everything so much harder since its a weekday.

I'm happy because I have a new wedge pillow to try out, thanks to my dad!! Hopefully I will get some good sleep with this sucker and breathe better too!

Also, Velvet is perched on my shoulder like a little parrot and well...it's freakin adorable! I love my Velvet kitty!!

I am happy because I have a fantastic job where I am achieving fantastic things; I get to work out of my home, with my three babies around me all the time... No boss on my neck, no office politics, just me, my babies, doing what I have to do

I'm happy today because I found out I'll be out of Trident Tech College sooner than I anticipated Should be done in December 2011 (only took me 5 years ) Decided to work and get married and build a house before really doing the college thing . Plus they used to fight my residency even though I'd lived here 2 years so I could only take 1 class at a time for over a year. Then took a year and a half off. Now been busting butt taking as many classes as I can handle

A coworker from my last job (I worked at a daycare center with infants) sent me a picture of one of my babies that just started walking. She is 16 months old and just started walking this week, we thought she'd never walk. I miss her a lot and was SOO happy to see a picture of her as a big girl walking.

I ordered myself a new tiffany style lamp for my living room. It came late in the afternoon and UPS left it on the front porch. Hubby found it this morning and put it together for me. I love it and it is beautiful with my burgundy leather furniture in the living room.

Happy?? Heck, I am downright ecstatic at this morning's find - a 1kg package of coffee beans that I put away and forgot where I parked them. Somehow they ended up under a bag of cat food.......now how on earth did that happen??

I am happy I had a few days off of work and I took two pto days and it added upto a week and a day off of work and last night I went in and they didn't need me so I had another paid night off and I really needed the personal time and Pixie loved the time with meowmy. Last night we spent all night together. And I have to work tonight but then I am off for three more nights so I am getting some much needed rest. If only I could have been living by myself when I took those days off it would have been really nice but I did enjoy my time with my girl so it makes me happy.

Two happy things!

One of the officers at work bought me a bottled water from the canteen today. She refused to take any money for it. I thought that was very sweet of her.

Then DH cooked dinner for us tonight. I love to cook, but I was really tired and it was nice just getting to relax.

I am happy today because I have a day off work (the atmosphere at work is awful at the moment) and I am spending it at home with the cats. As I type this Newt is curled up in my lap fast asleep. She is happy her human has extra time to spend with her too!
