Anyone remember this nursery rhyme?

Little Miss Muffet
Sat on a tuffet,
Eating her curds and whey;
Along came a spider,
Who sat down beside her
And frightened Miss Muffet away.

Well, picture it with Miss Muffett sitting on the toilet when that spider drops down. Then picture Miss Muffett running out of the room leaving a trail of pee behind!

Now picture me!

That's how I started my day!

Do you need this for the spider?
Try sitting there and having a mouse come out from under a cabinet and its blocking the doorway.

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!

You should have seen the spider this lot at work caught this morning, then left a glass over it until i came in. It was huge!!.

I thought it was dead because it was curled in, but as soon as i put it in the glass then put it outside it went running away

To me, a spider is a spider is a spider.....

The one from yesterday was the size of the stud part of one of those pierced earring studs that are used when you get your ears pierced. It dropped down from the ceiling on a thread, about a 12 inches from my face!

I suspect if was a baby and would have grown much larger. I'm trying to not think about where the others are!!!

Y'know, if it were anything else -- anything -- I'd say you were overreacting. But spiders? EEEEEK!!! I don't blame you one bit!

Many years ago, I lived in the converted attic of an old Victorian house in Austin. One night I padded into the bathroom half-asleep, seated myself, and proceeded to lean my head wearily against the wall to my right... until I opened my eyes and saw a little brown lizard staring at me from three inches away!

Lizards EAT spiders, though, and the enemy of my enemy is my friend -- so I didn't panic. But it was one of the shortest restroom visits in history!

I don't normally react to spiders like that. I don't like them, but I know they have a place in this world like everything else. Usually when I see one in my apartment I squish it with a huge wad of tissue.

However, it was early morning and I was still blurry eyed and the last thing I expected to see while on the toilet was a spider drop down from the sky right in front of my face! The shock of it all was what caused me to get up and bee-line out of there without thinking as to what I was in the middle of!

I did go back and find it and squished it with a tissue.
