Much to my horror, when I put on my lab coat this morning, there was something in the sleeve. It felt like a prehistoric bug...(not that I know what one of those feels like, but I have a mental image). I shook my sleeve and nothing...then a dryer ball fell out!
I had bought some at the dollar store and have been using them instead of dryer sheets lately. I honestly can't tell the difference, except for the noise they sometimes make in the dryer. And the feel of them when they get stuck in a sleeve. Anyway, I think I'm switching back to dryer sheets.

I thought a really big spider had me. I was almost scared to move.

I would think they would be pretty good in that aspect. I have sensitive skin; there are certain soaps/detergents that cause me to break out in welts. I am allergic to Dove soap and Tide detergent. The dryer balls are just some type of plastic and are completely unscented.

Thanks. Once when I was a teenager, I was in bed and felt something pull my long hair. It's my imagination, I thought. Then I felt it again; a hard tug, this time for sure. It was one of the scariest experiences, it was all I could do to put my feet on the floor to run. I was too scared to scream, but I think I finally did. My mom came to see what was the matter. I just knew it was a ghost or something worse. It didn't help that my mom turned on my bedroom light, screamed, and switched the light back off again really fast. I knew she must have seen something really horrible. Turned out, it was a mouse.
Our house had a basement and sometimes mice found their way in. My mom was (and still is) terrified of them.

Holy cow!! That would have frightened me too! Good thing it was just a mouse and nothing out of the ordinary
Now that would have been creepy!
