I really hope someone can identify that idiot and take that poor dog from him.

Grrrrrrr!!!!!! I would have interceded after the first couple of yanks and kicks... And I would have followed him and found out where he went. I hope he gets NAILED!!!

Oh my gosh what a , I can't believe him, he needs a good kicking, I hope someone does name and shame him, poor dog.x

He's been arrested after turning himself in and the dog has been removed from him, according to this story:

No mention on how pup is, though.

No charges? How did he get away with that? There are plenty of animal cruelty laws where I live, and the videotaped (er, digitally taped since this is the 21st century) evidence is pretty black and white.

I'm hoping the dog is doing well, since high profile cases like that usually warrant extra care given toward the dog (less likely to be put in a shelter and forgotten about since everyone knows his story and feels bad). The article said they seized the dog, hopefully it is on its way to some new owners right now.
