It is a big deal and Congratulations!

I understand how you're feeling about no recognition of this huge accomplishment. My family never acknowledges any event having to do with me or my children. My own parents didn't even send me a card when I got married.

Anyway.... good job on your accomplishment and may you have many more years together!

30 years in this day and age IS a big deal Sherral, I am sorry they have ignored you. You pick your friends, you don't get to pick your family

M.A. reminded me of a little sign a friend of mine has hanging in her kitchen. It says: "Friends Welcome. Relatives by appointment only."

It is a big deal - especially in this day and age.

Congratulations Sherral for making this milestone and may you see 30 more years!

who ever said u were childish? In Singapore, some couples actually invite ppl out for dinner, be family or friends to celebrate their anniversary...afterall, it's 30 yrs of sharing the same bed and the same life!

I'm so sorry that your family forgot abt it..but you have the board...ppl like us to wish u a HAPPY ANNIVERSARY !! Enjoy yourself for the many more 30 yrs to come!!

Happy Anniversary, "kids". I know how you feel. I'm the only one, out of 6, who remembers MY parent's anniversary.
