I was on call tonight until 11pm, so I missed my regular bedtime two hours ago. I'm back on call at 6:30 am for a full 24 hours...and I can't get tpo sleep now. If this keeps up, it'll be a l-o-n-g day tomorrow...

I feel for you! I had one of those nights from Thursday to Friday. I finally got up and went to work 3 hours early. Now I'm so overtired that I am not tired anymore.

Do you have any Gravol (for nausea) or Benadryl? Take 1/2 and see if it helps you sleep.

I'm so sorry you're having this trouble... and I so understand. I don't know if this would work for you, but it might be worth a try: I'm finding that I have a better chance of getting off to sleep if I play a fast-paced online game right before I go to bed. It seems counterintuitive, but for me, a high-speed, repetitive game seems to literally wear out my mind, so my thoughts don't keep me awake.

The one that works best for me is Nova Hearts, at vex.net/hearts -- a very fast-moving Hearts game against three computers. Maybe this could help you?

I don't have such a hectic schedule and I still can't sleep. I know which TV channels have shows and not just paid programming.
