vaccine question

I went to TSC to get dog food today, and took a look at their vaccines.

They have a 3-in-one for cats/kittens.. its not an injectable tho. It comes with a dropper, and is dripped in the eyes, or can be done nasally. Its for rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, feline distemper (panleukopenia).


Is this safer than injectable vaccines? Just as effective?

What I will call nasel vax... they are effective if you get it in the animal... safe they seem to be about the same as the injections

The shelter here uses that PLUS the injected vaccine....they say the nasal vaccine gives immediate immunity, and the injected vax gives long-lasting immunity . The nasal vax claims it gives long-lasting immunity as well. But I don't know anything for sure. I suppose there's no chance of injection-site cancer from the nasal vax.
