This is why I gave up quilting....



W-A-Y too much help!!!

I'm trying to make a baby quilt for a friend....but Maggie and Lola won't let me lay the blocks out on the living room floor to decide on a pattern.

Well, look at it this way. If it doesn't pass the kitty test, it isn't worth giving.

Looks like your quilt to be has the kitty seal of approval!

That's a cute picture....they're just trying to help!

Many years ago, I did latch-hooking. I preferred working on larger pieces....floor or wall size. When I would get a large part of the bottom finished, I'd have to put it on the floor, so that I could start working on the upper part. Hydrox was always right with me and he'd lay on the bottom of the rug while I worked the top. My finished rugs always had a bit of black cat hair on them.

One of my favorite pics of my late mom, is of her on the floor, laying out pieces to one of her many quilts.....and her cat Little Girl "helping" her.

Thanks for the memory.
