Morning folks!

I am enjoying my coffee. It is rainy today and will be for a couple days.

Tonight we are going to the Sens game, DH's dad gave us tickets.

Not much else going on...you all have a good day!

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
It's another cool but dry day here.

I've only done one day out of 2 weeks of this full time malarkie and it's not settling well with me at all
Roll on the 1st of November that's all i have to say and i can get back to normal.

Nearly Friday though

Morning!

It's quite cool this morning and dry right now, but the rain is on its way. A nor-easter is working its way up the coast...thank goodness, it will be rain and not snow.

DH and I have hair appts right after work, so it will be another longish day. He is bowling late, thank goodness, so we don't have to rush with dinner. Not sure what is on the menu tonight, but I'm thinking some kind of pasta with cannellini beans and tomatoes. With some broccoli and zucchini to add into the mix. And mushrooms (I love mushrooms) Yep, I just figured out dinner.

Enjoy your Thursday! One more day, just one more day til the weekend....

Trapped in the catroom! ;o)
Its freezing today...Got the wood stove fired up already, which reminds me I gotta check it and then grab more wood before it rains and soaks everything any worse than it is. Other than that a whole lotta nothing going on except cleaning the bathroom and washing some dishes up...oh and continuing my Buffy marathon with season 4. Maybe interrupting it with Season One of Angel.

Im still oh so ready for Friday, pay day and then the lovely weekend with nothing to do but change the fuel filter on the Explorer.

So envious! Who are they playing?
Have fun!

Just work today and then off to the gym this evening. Hopefully it's not as packed as it was last night. I hate trying to workout in a crowded gym, having to wait for the equipment I want, etc.
Sooo glad it's Friday Eve...

Kinda damp today---and coolish. Supposed to get to 59F today---in the dull and rain...

Got a phonecall early this morning that my heart specialist had got an apointment with an ICD specialist for November the 5th. We'll be discussing my options regarding that arrythmia of mine that wants to turn into a Ventricular Fibrillation----So far I have not had this happen since my heart attack

I'm going out to get some shopping done and get a few things from the LHS as well--got a weekend of on-call to do so I want to be prepared for the eventual slowdowns in work---

Have a good day ---

Good morning. It's a nice day here, though supposedly we're getting rain later on today. I'm enjoying my time alone while my sister's on vacation. Not much going on today except I'm going out for drinks and supper with some friends tonight.

Morning... cloudy so far, and cool. Same as yesterday, going up to about 80 or so eventually.

I have homework to do, and I should do laundry, and finish painting. And I want to bake lemon things! I might try the recipe Winchester shared on Wednesday... my hands need to cooperate first though. Anyway.. that's that.

Hopheads tonight, it's at The Factory which isn't too far away. A local brewery is going to be there doing a sour beer tasting thing. Sounds yummy, but I don't know if I will go or not. I'm just not really into the Hopheads Thursdays these days. I will decide by this evening anyway.

Have a good day, stay dry east coasters!

Good afternoon! It's a glorious day here, so I'm headed outside to move some plants, pot up some plants til I figure out where I want to put them, and plant some other new plants. This is one of the best times of the year for us to plant.

I've already picked up Tumbles from the vet and gotten my hair cut, so it's already been a productive day.

It's a little cool here today so I wore a jacket out but as soon as I got in my car, off came the jacket. It's still not that winter cold yet and I still need my bedroom windows open at night. The really cold weather has not hit us as of yet. Hopefully the rain we are supposed to get tonight will cool us off once and for all...but I doubt it.

SNOW!
The first snow of the winter has fallen, but is melting away as I write this. Hopefully it will be still a good while before the 'permanent' winter snow arrives (if it arrives). Last winter we had so much snow.. it was chaotic because there had been few years with very little or no snow at all, and then suddenly we're in the middle of the Northpole and no one was really prepared to it here in the southern parts of the country.

There's no place like home
I accepted a part time job offer yesterday and turned down a different part time job offer today. Had to go down for the pre-employment drug screening this morning. Wow! Things have changed since I started my last job 17 years ago.

The pay is underwhelming (less than 10% of what I previously earned), but at least its doing something that is a hobby for me (home improvement store). It'll be fun until I find something long term. Beggars can't be choosy in this economy. It's taken me over 10 months to find this job. I've been turned down for worse.

My babies aren't going to be happy when I leave them to go back to work after being home for nearly a year with them. I'm going to drag out my start date as long as I can.
