Twenty-three of the miners in Chile have now been rescued. I'm finding it very emotional to watch. I can not believe they have been underground for so long and are alive.

Haven't seen it yet, but will watch it on the news at 7 p.m. It's so amazing that they are coming out now.

I couldn't sleep last night, so I watched the miners 3-9 get rescued before I fell asleep.
It was soo amazing to see how well all of them looked!

Yes, they've kept their spirits high through out this whole ordeal. They've been in darkness without sun light and fresh air. At one point on the news they said that they would sometimes sing. The human spirit is an amazing thing;; what people are capable of surviving. I've cried a few times because it's very touching to see them emerge from from that pit. I'm also moved by all the workers who worked so hard to rescue them. I thought earlier how deeply this experience was going to change everyone involved.

What I would have hated more than anything was being confined in such a small space with 32 other people. I can just imagine how they must have gotten on each other's nerves.

Oh yeah, I have been watching it since last night and saw when they got the first guy up, wow that was just wonderful and yes I cried. The funny thing about this tho is the guy who is married and also has a mistress. His wife didn't show up to see him but his mistress did. His wife had recently found out about the affair while he was underground, oh boy is he in for it.

I have been following it on the radio but have not seen any footage. To hear that they kept their spirits high during this whole ordeal is very emotional!

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
I watched it while i had breakfast yesterday, and they were ready to lift the 6th man up. I just can't even imagine what they've went through down there

I just hope they don't get taken for a ride when the t.v and newspapers want there stories, not to mention the film makers

There's no place like home
They signed an agreement while they were all still underground that any money any one of them makes from their ordeal will be split amongst all of them. They are already getting hit for interviews and other things. I hope none of them ever has to go into a mine for the rest of their lives.

I watched as many as I could get lifted out and didn't stop watching until all 6 of the rescue people that went down there came up.

I found it funny that the last miner out spent some time lecturing the president and minister of mining on the need to not let this happen ever again. Boy howdy they deserved it.

With all the crap going on in the world right now, this was one of the best "feel good" stories that could have happened. It's horrible that it happened in the first place, but I'm so happy for the eventual outcome.

Yes, we watched it and it was so wonderful and everyone came out basically healthy! How wonderful and people from all over the world helped in this rescue. Maybe there's hope for humanity afterall!
