ANOTHER question for Cosequin users

Do your cats like the taste of Cosequin? I finally found a canned food that Sven actually will eat (or rather, he will lick all the sauce/gravy off of it, so I dilute it with a little water to get him to have even more), but if I mix in the Cosequin, he will absolutely refuse it! I've tried it a couple of times now, with the same results. Weird. I'm not sure if it's the smell or what, but I've also tried just mixing the Cosequin in a little water to see if he'll lap it up, and that's also a no go. What's with this cat of mine? It even smells half decent to me (maybe that's the problem...if it smells good to a human, it can't taste good to a cat .

So, we're still having to dose him via syringe, but I was hoping we could stop doing that, since he kind of whimpers when he sees us coming. I keep telling him he doesn't need the syringe if he would just let me put it in his food, but for some strange reason, he doesn't understand what I am saying .

Try cream cheese . Put the powder in the center of a small ball of cream cheese. Roll it into a ball to cover the powder then roll the whole ball in organic catnip. Works for me every time.
