this is probably the wrong section but i'm hoping more people will see it. last night i was going to visit a neighbor across the street and got waylaid at the sidewalk by a couple 'meows'. this orange Tabby comes running up to me and starts rubbing up against my legs. so i fed it, it ate 1 can of friskies and 2 cans of proplan and it's still hanging around. we pretty much know every stray in this area and think it was dumped. we're going to take it to the vet within the next 2 weeks and get it fixed.
then tonight my friend and i went to feed the strays in the parking lot a few blocks away and heard the meow of a very young kitten. one of the office managers told us it's been sitting in this big hedge all day crying. so my friend and i got it trapped and it's now in my garage. it's an orange tabby about 6 weeks old. it was hissing at first but once it got a full tummy we started petting it and it bwas purring up a storm.
if anyone knows of a good home for them let me know. i have nine already and my friend can't take anymore either. thanks, Connie
