Kitten Questions

Hello, We are getting a new kitten this thursday. I went out to buy some supplies. However I am not sure what is best to do with a couple of things.

The lady who has the kitten now is using clumping kroger brand litter. It has been a long time since we had a kitten in the house, but I am not sure at what age the kitten can switch from non-clumping to clumping, we normally used world's best cat litter or arm and hammer with sammy. she will be about 10 weeks by the time we get her.

also the kitten is eating kitten chow or purina indoor... would it be ok to switch her from that to something a little better or would it get her sick?

Thanks so much all

I answered the food question on your other thread, but we use World's Best with all our cats. We got Tumbles when he was about 10 wks old and that's all he's used. We've had no problems with him using it either. As you know, it's flushable so it gets rid of those not so lovely kitty poop odors quickly.
