Fog Crossed the Rainbow Bridge Today

It was time. Fog crossed the Rainbow Bridge this morning, cuddled in my lap while the vet used two shot protocol to put him to sleep then put him down.

It wouldn't hurt me so much if I didn't love him so much.

He used to love to snuggle under the covers. Be cozy, safe, and healed my beloved little cat.

I am so sorry to hear this news. You obviously loved him very much, as is evident in how well you cared for him.

RIP, Fog. You will be missed.

Again, I'm so sorry - he couldn't have been loved any more. He looks like a male version of my Dharma. I'm sure Fog is well now, just waiting patiently to be reunited with his family some day.

Fog was a beautiful kitty!!! Your final act of Love for him was ending his suffering, even though you heart is breaking. Thank you for caring and loving him so much.

Oh I feel so bad for you to loose your buddy, but you did the right thing. Darn this love thing. It feels so good, and yet rips you apart.

What a better way to leave this plain and enter another than in the arms of those that love you, and without pain.

Fog and you and your husband will be in my prayers. We are close to our animals in life, but in death they enter our hearts. Then they are truly part of us.

God bless.

I am so sorry that Fog has lost his fight but at least now he is at peace and you know you did everything you could for him. Many vibes go out to you for strength during this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is hard to lose a friend, but it is good that you could be there with him to the end.

I'm so sorry you lost Fog. Having lost one of my dear boys not so long ago, the pain is readily there for me to feel as you do. I'm going to cry a few tears now.

He looks like a little angel in that photo. He really is one now.

People have been so nice. Our vet hospital made a donation in Fog's memory to a New Jersey animal charity. My sister, who lives in Israel, made a donation in his memory to a group that rescues Jerusalem's street cats. We made a donation to a TNR rescue group in a nearby town, and donated all his left-over food (45 cans - don't you know, I'd just stocked up before all this happened, and a partial bag of dry food) to a nearby private rescue that works with strays. It's lovely to know that there are some good things that have come out of this.

Miss him so much.
