Fog Euthanized This Morning

We went to the emergency clinic yesterday, brought Fog home.

Looked at him this morning, his hind legs so weak he started to drag himself around, he no longer had bladder control, and could no longer retract his penis.

We decided it was really not a worthwhile life for him, and one that would only degrade further.

So this morning my sweet cat was euthanized while laying in my lap, and my husband by our side.

We brought him home and buried him here.

I have no doubt that it was absolutely the right thing to do, and the right time to do it. But it hurts so much.

I am so sorry - Fog was blessed with a loving family who put his good over their own pain. Prayers for you.

I can only hope someone cares as much about me when that time comes as you have about Fog. Poor baby.

I'm sorry. I'm sure that someday you and Fog will be playing happily across the Rainbow Bridge.
